Worked at Strombolis in Calgary and Gabriel C in Olds, Alberta and in the
Fiji Islands as a private Chef.
How he got into cooking
"Needed a job and liked the ability to work with many individuals with various
cultural backgrounds."
First thing he ever cooked
"Antipasto… my mom always had these communal cooking parties where everyone
joined in to make a large quantity of Antipasto. I still remember the smells and
tastes of such an exciting time."
Recipe Tip
"Don't boil rice… it is meant to be steamed… slowly cooking to allow the apple
water to slowly absorb."
What he'd be if he weren't a chef
"Definitely in the Entertainment Industry… possibly an Event Planner."

"Sharpening Steel ... you must keep your knives sharp at all times."

"Fish Head Soup… it was made with fish heads and you ate the cheeks, tongues and
flesh of the fish… it was outstanding!"
