Pita Chips
Ingredients
- 3 6-inch pita breads
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- ¼ cup mixed spices of your preference
- coarse salt to taste
- 1 large garlic clove
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
- Mince garlic and add to butter with the mixed spices.
- Cook stirring frequently until garlic is soft but not browned.
- Cut each pita bread into 8 wedges and separate each wedge into two triangles.
- Brush the butter lightly onto the rough side of each pita triangle.
- Arrange triangles, buttered side up on a large baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with salt.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown and crisp.
