Pita Chips

Ingredients

  • 3  6-inch pita breads
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup mixed spices of your preference
  • coarse salt to taste
  • 1 large garlic clove

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. 
  3. Mince garlic and add to butter with the mixed spices. 
  4. Cook stirring frequently until garlic is soft but not browned.
  5. Cut each pita bread into 8 wedges and separate each wedge into two triangles. 
  6. Brush the butter lightly onto the rough side of each pita triangle.
  7. Arrange triangles, buttered side up on a large baking sheet. 
  8. Sprinkle with salt. 
  9. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown and crisp.
  10. Enjoy!
