Peppered Strawberries in Rum

Ingredients

  • 1 pint strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 tbsp granulated white sugar
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp fresh cracked black pepper

Method

  1. Mix together gently and marinate for one hour.
  2. To flame add 1 tsp butter to heated sauté pan, add 1/4 pint berries, 1 tsp brown sugar and sauté briefly.  Then add 1 tbsp of rum.. Tilt pan slightly to ignite. Propane works best but you may use a lit skewer.
  3. Enjoy!
