Tangy Mustard-Glazed Ham
Ingredients
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- ¼ cup dry mustard
- ¼ cup apple or orange juice
Ham:
- 8-10 lb fully cooked boneless whole ham
whole cloves
Method
Glaze:
- In small mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well. Set aside.
Ham:
- Heat oven to 325 F /160 C.
- Insert meat thermometer.
- Estimate total cooking time at 10 to 15 minutes per pound. (25 to 35 per kilogram).
- Place ham on rack
- Brush with glaze during the last 30 minutes of roasting time, or until internal temperature registers 140 F/ 60C, basting with drippings once.
- Decorate ham with quartered orange slices during last 10 minutes, if desired.
- Secure orange pieces with cloves in diagonal lines.
- Baste ham with drippings and return to oven.
- Let stand for 10 minutes.
