Salsa Ribs

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup jalapeno pepper, minced
  • 2 lbs. pork backribs
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups salsa, mild or hot to your taste
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • ½ cup honey

Method

  1. Place ribs in a large pot and cover with water. 
  2. Bring water to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes to an hour.
  3. Remove from water and place in a large baking dish.
  4. In a bowl, combine salsa, soy sauce, garlic, honey and jalapeno peppers.
  5. Mix well and pour over ribs. 
  6. Marinate at room temperature at least one hour or up to two days refrigerated.
  7. Grill over medium low heat for 10-15 minutes, brushing with remaining marinade.
  8. Enjoy!
