Gravy

Ingredients

  • 2 cups reserved drippings from turkey 
  • ¼ cup all purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • pinch pepper

Method

  1. Strain drippings into 4 cup measure. 
  2. Add water or chicken broth, if necessary, to equal 2 cups.
  3. Place remaining ingredients in small mixing bowl. 
  4. Add small amount of drippings to flour mixture. 
  5. Stir until mixture is smooth. 
  6. Add back to remaining drippings, stirring with whisk until smooth.
  7. Microwave at high for 6 to 8 minutes, or until mixture thickens and bubbles, stirring 2 or 3 times.
