Fruit Salad "Margarita"
Ingredients
- 3 oranges
- 4 cups strawberries
- 2 kiwis
- 1 small pineapple
- 1 ripe mango
- 1/3 cup limeade concentrate
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 1/3 cup ginger ale
Method
- Cut top and bottom off each orange.
- Holding orange in place on a cutting board, cut off peel from top to bottom, exposing segments.
- Cut out orange segments from between membranes (do this over a large bowl to catch the juices).
- Remove hulls from strawberries and cut each berry in half or quarters depending on their size.
- Peel kiwis and cut each one into 6 to 8 chunks.
- Cut pineapple into chunks.
- Peel mango and cut into chunks.
- Toss all fruit together.
- Combine limeade, orange juice and ginger ale in a small bowl.
- Pour over fruit and toss.
- Marinate for up to 1 hour at room temperature or longer in the refrigerator.
