Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Ingredients
- 6 oz. Semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 6 oz. white chocolate pieces
- 24 Strawberries with stems, washed
Method
- Melt the white chocolate pieces in top of double boiler.
- Remove from heat and cool to tepid, stirring frequently.
- Line a baking sheet with non-stick baking paper.
- Dip strawberries in chocolate at an angle, dipping about 2/3 of the strawberry into the chocolate.
- Place on paper and set in cool dry place until completely set
- Melt the semi-sweet chocolate pieces in top of double boiler, stirring frequently until smooth.
- Remove chocolate from heat and cool to tepid.
- Take each white chocolate dipped strawberry and dip at the alternate angle in the semi-sweet chocolate mixture covering about two-thirds of the fruit and overlapping some of the white chocolate.
- Place on paper and set in cool dry place until completely set.
- Optional-Serve with whipped cream for dipping.
