Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. Semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 6 oz. white chocolate pieces
  • 24 Strawberries with stems, washed

Method

  1. Melt the white chocolate pieces in top of double boiler. 
  2. Remove from heat and cool to tepid, stirring frequently. 
  3. Line a baking sheet with non-stick baking paper.
  4. Dip strawberries in chocolate at an angle, dipping about 2/3 of the strawberry into the chocolate. 
  5. Place on paper and set in cool dry place until completely set
  6. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate pieces in top of double boiler, stirring frequently until smooth.
  7. Remove chocolate from heat and cool to tepid. 
  8. Take each white chocolate dipped strawberry and dip at the alternate angle in the semi-sweet chocolate mixture covering about two-thirds of the fruit and overlapping some of the white chocolate. 
  9. Place on paper and set in cool dry place until completely set.
  10. Optional-Serve with whipped cream for dipping.
  11. Enjoy!
