Cauliflower with Paddy-Straw Mushrooms
Ingredients
- 1 Small Cauliflower cut into florets the white part of a leek, cleaned and sliced
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- ˝ tsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 4 oz Canned paddy-straw mushrooms, drained
Method
- Slice the cauliflower lengthways into thin slices and reserve.
- Mix the soy sauce, 1 tbsp of water and sugar together in a small
bowl.
- Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan over medium-low heat and sauté the leek for 1 minute.
- Add the cauliflower and cook, stirring for 1 minute.
- Pour in 1-2 tbsp cold water, cover and simmer over low heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Add paddy-straw mushrooms and the soy sauce mixture and continue to cook covered, for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve at once.
