Fiddlehead Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cups fresh fiddleheads
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped finely
  • 2-3 stems chives, chopped finely
  • 2  tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar

Method

  1. In a frying pan, heat oil and add the chopped garlic, chives, toasted sesame seeds, fiddleheads, sugar and salt.
  2. Stir constantly until the fiddleheads are soft and tender.
  3. Serve immediately on a bed of rice or simply as an accompaniment with a meal.
  4. Enjoy!
