Gold
medallist Karen Schoenrank's comments of the event!
"If
your interested in competing, then I highly recommend the Skills
Canada Competitions (provincial & national levels). Preparing
to test your skills against the high standards of the industry
requires a lot of planning and practice, but it is well worth the
experience. I personally found it interesting to compare my
abilities and training with competitors from different
institutions across Canada. It was also nice to meet new people in
the industry as well as gain more experience in a competition
setting. Overall, the experience was challenging , exciting and a
lot of fun, and I would encourage anybody to give it a try."
